WordPress Maintenance Mode Plugin

Unlike other CMS, WordPress does not have a built-in feature that’ll allow you to take your website to maintenance mode (or under construction) from live mode, but, like I had mentioned in my previous post that WordPress is flexible and allows you to install add-ons or rather plug-ins to your blog. There’s one such plug-in called the Maintenance Mode Plug-in which allows you to display a custom message on the homepage of your blog.
