Ever wish you could chat Facebook style on your phone without having to go through the rigmarole of logging into your Facebook? The good news is that there’s an app called Facebook Messenger that simplifies how you can communicate with your Facebook friends on your phone. Facebook Messenger syncs up with all of your Facebook chats and messages, so you can access them on-the-go. Facebook Messenger even allows you to chat and message groups of friends. If you want to make plans for Friday night with five of your friends, you can send a mass message to all five of those friends at once.

Setting up Facebook Messenger on your phone is simple. All you have to do is go to fb.me/msgr on your phone’s web browser. Alternatively, you can go to the Android Market or App store and find the Facebook Messenger app there.

One of the major perks of Facebook Messenger is that it uses data instead of text messages to work. So, if you only have a limited number of text messages you can send each month, the messages you send on Facebook Messenger won’t count as text messages and cause you to meet your text quota too quickly. If you don’t have unlimited data, you can always use Facebook Messenger when your phone’s connected to Wi-Fi to conserve data.

So, stop taking the time to login to Facebook on your phone every time you want to chat with your friends. Facebook Messenger makes staying connected even easier.

You can check your PNR status on the Indian Railways official website. From the Indian Railway’s main page, you can navigate to the “PNR Status” page where you can type in the PNR you find on the left corner of your train ticket to instantly check your status.

You can also download an app like the Indian Rail Info App that allows you to check your PNR status, look up rail seat availability, inquire about train fare, and find just about any Indian Railways information.

There’s no reason to not know your PNR status thanks to websites like the Indian Railways website and apps like Indian Rail Info!

Facebook has not officially added a Facebook video calling feature to their Facebook Messenger iPhone app. Rumors surfaced about a month ago indicating that Facebook does have plans to update the iPhone app with support for video calls in the near future. Until this happens, Facebook users have a few third-party options to consider if they want to make Facebook video calls. One of those options, Seen, is an app that seamlessly integrates with your Facebook friends list to allow you to easily video chat with your Facebook pals.

Seen is a free app you can purchase from the App Store. It works on all iPhone models, all iPad models, and 4th generation iPod Touch models. Once you’ve downloaded it, all you have to do is type in your Facebook login information, and then you can select friends from your Facebook friends list to video call. The app will let you scroll through a list of your friends who are available to chat on Facebook. An additional perk Seen offers is the ability to adjust your privacy settings to block certain people from video calling you.

Seen also allows you to make HD voice calls and video calls for free worldwide. So, it’s a great app to download if you want to save money on international voice calls. Unfortunately, data rates do apply. If you don’t have an unlimited data plan, you may want to make sure you’re connected to WiFi when you’re using Seen to make video and voice calls, which both require a lot of data transmission to work.

If you’d rather wait for Facebook Messenger for iPhone to get an update with video chat, you probably won’t have to wait very long. According to some sources, Facebook released a beta version of Facebook Messenger with video chat in November 2011. Developers may be testing out this beta version, and we may see video chat come to life on Facebook Messenger in the next few months.

There’s a new current status of train app available on the Android market that allows users to check the status and locations of all trains in India. This app is called “Indian Rail Info App,” and you can download it for free. A website called India Rail Info has been providing users with real-time information about the status of trains for a while. Now Android users can easily access similar real-time information about trains using the Indian Rail Info App on their phones and tablets.

You can use the Indian Rail Info App to search for trains, get PNR statuses, figure out a train’s arrival and departure information, check for available seats, and inquire about train fare and potential seat upgrades.

There are a few other apps on the Android market that provide users with detailed information about the statuses of trains in India. However, the Indian Rail Info App is one of the most attractive and user-friendly apps of its kind. According to some users, this app can be somewhat sluggish on 2G networks. If your smartphone or tablet is connected to a faster network, however, you shouldn’t have any issues accessing up-to-date Indian rail information.

Enabling Video Calling on Facebook

Before you video chat on Facebook, you’ll need to enable video calling and install the appropriate software. To do this, you have to select a friend you wish to video chat with and visit their profile page. Once you’ve done that, you’ll click on the small button with an asterisk on it at the very top of your friend’s profile. And then you’ll select “Call.” After you click on the “Call” button, you’ll click on the button that reads “Set Up.” Facebook will then provide you with the instructions you need to install and enable the Facebook video calling feature.

Video Calling Available Facebook Friends

If you want to video chat face-to-face with one of your friends, you have to make sure they’re online first. To check whether they’re online, you’ll need to look at your Facebook chat list. The friends on the list with full green dots next to their names are online and available for chat. If you want to video chat with someone who’s available, you can double-click on his or her name in the chat list. A new chat window will pop up, and you’ll click on the icon that looks like a small video camera at the top of the chat window. Once you’ve done this, your friend will receive a message from Facebook indicating that you want to video chat. They can either accept or deny your request for a video call.

Leaving a Facebook Video Message

Facebook gives you the option to send a video message to friends who are logged off of their Facebook accounts and temporarily unavailable for video chat. If you decide to leave a video message for one of your friends, they’ll be able to view it when they log back on to Facebook.

To leave a video message for one of your friends, you’ll need to go to your Facebook message inbox, click on “New Message,” and then click on the icon that looks like a video camera at the bottom of the message window. You’ll then be able to record your video message and send it to your friend once you’re done.

Now you should be able to set up video chat on Facebook, chat with available friends, and send video messages to friends who are offline. So, go forth and make Facebook video chat memories!

Hulu Plus apps are currently available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and several streaming media players, such as all the Roku models. Additionally, there are a handful of HDTVs and Blu-ray players that come with the app. And, of course, most popular tablets and smartphones come with apps that provide full entry to the Hulu media library. According to Hulu, a Hulu streaming app will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS soon. There’s no word yet on whether you’ll be able to stream Hulu content on the new PS Vita anytime in the near future.

Unfortunately, the selection of Hulu content you can stream to your TV is limited in comparison to the selection of Hulu content you can stream to your computer, smartphone, or tablet. Hulu has to get special permission from TV and movie networks to stream specific content to TVs. And some of these networks won’t grant that special permission for certain shows and movies. So, if you’re expecting to stream all of your favorite sitcoms from Hulu to your TV using the new Wii app, you may be a little disappointed. As more and more people begin to stream content to their TVs, we can hope that networks will become more open to sharing.

The Nook Tablet specs tend to impress more than the specs of the Kindle Fire. Users note that images on the Nook’s screen tend to appear crisper and more attractive than images on the Kindle Fire screen. If you plan on storing a considerable amount of videos, books, and music on your tablet, the Nook Tablet is a better choice. It comes with 16 GB of internal memory plus a MicroSD slot that allows you to add up to 32 GB of memory. The Kindle Fire comes with a measly 8 GB of memory and 5 GB of complimentary cloud storage space. Additionally, the Nook tablet has a much larger selection of quality children’s books and magazines than the Kindle Fire.

If you’ve decided the Nook Tablet is a better fit for you than the Kindle Fire, now’s the perfect time to purchase it. The $199 sale on eBay only lasts 24 hours, so you’re going to have to act fast. There’s no word yet about whether or not Barnes and Noble has any plans to permanently decrease the price of their flagship tablet. After the sale, the Nook Tablet price will most likely remain $249 for the duration of 2012, with the exception of a few sales here and there.

The LG OLED TV is an impressive 55 inches and boasts a 1mm bezel. With a bezel that thin, users of the TV will be able to totally immerse themselves in the life-like images on screen and almost forget that what’s in front of them isn’t real. Consumers have complained that previous OLED TV models distort colors on screen from different angles.
