But how do I find the right keywords?
For the absolute beginner SEO can seem daunting and its true with choosing the right keywords. One easy way of finding keywords to your website is by using the Google Keyword Suggestion tool which tell you which keyword would get you maximum traffic to your website.
Step 1: Head over to https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
Step 2: Type the keyword you wish to analyze. It could be a phrase or a keyword.
Step 3: Add the keywords which are relevant to your keywords provided in the first step.
Step 4: Now on the right hand side of your page you will find the list of keywords that you have chosen from step 3. Below the keywords click the button which says “Get more related keywords”.
Step 5: Now the selected keywords are analyzed and the result displayed are the possible related keywords. These would be the keywords which you must be interested to include. You can repeat this process until you are satisfied.
Step 6: After finalizing the keywords, download the keywords. Copy those keywords and place them in the META keyword content of your site.
Place the following between the <head> </head> tags:
<meta name="keyword" content="keyword1, keyword2, keyword-phrase1,keyword-phrase2" /> <meta name="description" content="Website description" />
That’s it, your done! Keep them updated for better results.
