If you think that there’s something fishy going on with Facebook account or you want to prevent your Facebook account from being hacked, then you probably need this simple security setting that detects if any unauthorized person is accessing your account secretly.
Go to Account – Account Settings – Account Security. You’ll see a list of all computers and mobile devices that are connected into your Facebook account. It also provides you with the location from where it was accessed.
If you notice any unknown device or location accessing your Facebook account, you can terminate the activity immediately by clicking “end activity”.
Additionally, you can receive email or SMS notifications when an unknown computer or device tries to access your Facebook account. To do so, enable the login notifications. This adds an extra layer to secure your Facebook account.
