Google+ Circles is a feature in Google Plus that allows you to categories your friends in which group you can add them to. It is almost simliar to creating groups. By default, Google+ comes with 4 circles – Friends, Acquaintances, Family and Following. You can create your own circles and add your friends to it.

Google+ is currently under invite basis. If you still haven’t got an invite for Google+, then you may probably have to wait a little longer as Google has closed down the invite feature due to high demand of Google+ invites. Google has also removed the process of joining Google+ without an invite.

Anyways, if you have created Circles in Google Plus and wondering a way to delete it, then here how you can do it.

Step One:  Click on Circles

Click on the circles button on the top of Google+ page.

Step Two: Select Circle

Now select the Circle that you want to delete. In the pop up box, click on Delete this circle link.

UPDATE: Looks like Google has removed this trick and has stopped working. Will keep you posted if I come across any other trick.

Google launched it’s new service Google+ few days back and is available only via invite. Users who had Google Plus account could invite their friends, however Google had to disable the invite feature since there was a high demand of it. There were some users who ere selling Google+ invites on eBay.

Google+ is currently under testing stage and could be a tough competitor for Facebook. Some of the new features that Google Plus include are Circles, Spark and Hangouts.  If you still haven’t got your invite then here’s a trick you could try to gain access to it.

Step One: You need to have Google Chrome browser for this. Download Google Chrome browser and install it on your computer/laptop.

Step Two: Once you’ve completed installing Google Chrome, you then need to install this Google+ Chrome app (Google Plus Chrome app)

Step Three: After you installed the app, open a new tab and you will find Google+ App logo under “Apps”

Step Four: Click on the Google+ App. It will take you to the Google+ site and asks you to sign in using Google account. Once you’ve logged in, it will then ask you to join and create a Google+ account.

Make sure that you have a Google Profile before creating Google+ Account.

Alternatively, you can get a Google+ invite by asking any of your friends who are already on Google+ to write something and share it  by typing in your email addresses. You will receive an email notification and a link to sign up.

Google recently launched their new social service Google+ which enables users to share photos, video, add comments, send messages and more from a selected groups of friends. Google+ is (in a way) similar to Facebook and will be a tough competitor to Twitter and Facebook.

Like Gmail and Google Music, the new social service is invite only. When Gmail and Google Music were launched, it followed the same trend – Invite Only! Google+ is open to limited invites and most of its service will be available in the US only.

Update: Google Shuts Down Google Plus Invites

Vic Gundotra, Senior Vice President, Engineering at Google stated that Google has closed down the invite process for Google Plus due to tremendous demand of invites.

There are people who claim to have Google Plus invite are selling them for making some bucks. Please do not entertain such people as they are all fake! At the moment, no one (including Google+ users) can send invites to anyone.

Google takes the biggest step in Social networking space by launching a new social service called Google+. The new service that works similar to Facebook helps users to updates photos, send messages, add comments and other content from selected groups of friends. This could be  a tough competitor to Facebook.

In an Official Statement Bradley Horowitz, a vice president of product management at Google said -

In real life, we have walls and windows and I can speak to you knowing who’s in the room, but in the online world, you get to a ‘Share’ box and you share with the whole world”

With Google Cirlces, users can share different things with different people. Google Circles features a personalized newsfeed that allows users to keep certain people ranging from family to best friends to acquaintances to co-workers. It allows users to group chat known as “Huddle”, group video chat, uploading photos and updates and more.

You can start a thread (or initiate a spark) and let your friends and family members interact. This is similar to sharing stories on Facebook

The new Google’s project, Google+ is under testing stage and can be accessed via invitation only.

Yesterday, a report said that Google translator was translating “Suresh Raina is God” in Serbian to “Sachin Tendulkar is God” in English. This technical glitch was rectified when the it spread like a wild fire on Twitter trends and Facebook.

The phrase ‘Suresh Raina is God’ topped the list on Google trends.

1. Google Docs and Gmail:

It is probably the best way to view your PDF www.docs.google.com/viewer files online. If there’s a link to a PDF document that you want to view, then just head to  and paste the link and click on “Generate Link”. Google automatically generates a link to the PDF document and you can view the document.

From December 16, Nexus S will be sold unlocked and carrier-independent initially through Best Buy stores in the U.S. and after December 20 at Carphone Warehouse stores in the UK.

Best Buy would offer the Google/Samsung Nexus S unlocked for $529 in the USA or for $199 with a T-Mobile contract. In Britain, the price of the phone is 549.95 pounds ($862) unlocked and free with a contract of 35 pounds per month for a term and with an operator yet to be announced.

Though the much awaited Google’s new netbook-and-tablet cloud-based operating system, Chrome OS is expected to be launched tomorrow and with just 60,000 units being produced that are only given to Google’s friends and family, there’ certainly no way you could get your hands on it soon, at least by 2011 as Google had stated Chrome OS and other devices running it won’t be available to consumers until 2011.
